The Team USA elite female boxing team will head north to take on their Canadian adversaries at the Battle of the Frontiers in Montreal, Canada. The international duel will be the second match-up between the top women from the U.S. and Canada following their first meeting back in March at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in March.
In the first duel, the U.S. won six out of eight contests. This match up will feature nine bouts of top-notch women’s boxing at the Complexe Sportif Claude-Robillard in Montreal.
Several notable fighters representing the red, white and blue, including 2012 Olympic bronze medalist Marlen Esparza, 2012 U.S. Olympian Queen Underwood and 2014 USA Boxing Elite National champion Christina Cruz.
This should be an exciting event. While the U.S. carries some heavy hitters, Canada will no doubt look to avenge their previous defeat.
